Important Update From Dr. Hartnett

We hope this finds you well and safe. We want to update you about what we do every day to minimize exposure of our patients and team members to any pathogens, including COVID-19.

We continue to follow universal precautions including:

• Disposable gloves and masks
• Thoroughly scrubbing our hands with antibacterial soap after each patient
• Cleaning all operatory surfaces, including the dental chair with the highest level disinfectant after each patient
• Disposable protective barriers on operatory handles and chairs
• All instruments are individually bagged and heat sterilized to medical facility standards
• Sterilizers are checked by an independent company on a weekly basis to verify they are working properly

In addition, since the COVID-19 pandemic, the following precautions remain in effect to keep patients and staff safe:

• Each staff member and patient is screened with a COVID-19 disclosure questionnaire.
• All staff members and patients wear masks in the office at all times.
• All patients and staff use hand gel and have a temperature reading upon arrival.
• We ask patients to call from their vehicles on arrival, so they can be taken directly to their treatment rooms.
• Every room has a HEPA air filter with UV light air sterilization.
• Every room is cleansed after each patient with a cold fogging treatment that kills the virus on contact.
• Daily full UV light sterilization of treatment rooms
• Treatment rooms are alternated between each patient.
• All non-clinical areas, such as counters, doorknobs, bathrooms, are disinfected multiple times daily.
• All staff is now fully COVID-19 vaccinated.
• All staff wears complete PPE during clinical care.
• Online patient registration forms created
