Anne C. Hartnett, DDS


Biography

Dr. Anne C. Hartnett has been practicing dentistry since 1986 and has limited her practice to periodontal and implant surgery since 1990.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from New York University. Her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree is from Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine.

Her first dental residency program was a two-year general practice residency at Brookdale Hospital Medical Center. During this time, Dr. Hartnett received a great deal of surgical experience and became interested in periodontology. She then received her specialty training in the Periodontics Residency Program at the University of Tennessee School of Dentistry and the Memphis Veterans Affairs Hospital.

Dr. Hartnett is a Board Certified Diplomate of Periodontology and Dental Implant Surgery. She is on the attending staff at Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, where she teaches dental residents. To keep on the cutting edge of dentistry, Dr. Hartnett regularly attends continuing education courses. She is certified in minimally invasive procedures including gingival grafting and the Pinhole Surgical Technique. All implant surgery is accomplished using state of the art 3D guided techniques.

She is a member of many professional organizations, including the American Board of Periodontology, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the New Jersey Dental Association and the Essex County Dental Association. Her philosophy of treatment is to deliver high quality dentistry in a calm, caring office. Patients receive personalized attention designed to meet their needs. In her free time she is an avid scuba diver.
